The association The Friends of Renac and its Heritage was created in 2021 on the initiative of volunteers from the Redon area, in partnership with the owners of Château du Brossay. Driven by a shared passion for local history and heritage preservation, they wished to combine their skills and commitment to raise awareness of the historical, cultural and natural riches of the commune of Renac.
The association’s purpose is to showcase the heritage of Renac in all its forms: built heritage, landscapes, traditions, archives, local memory and craftsmanship. It works to preserve this legacy, to pass it on and to make it accessible to as many people as possible.

Created in 2021, the association was born from the wish of volunteers from the Redon area and the owners of Château du Brossay to organise a major gathering dedicated to vintage vehicles in an exceptional heritage setting.
The Vintage Vehicle Festivals, held in 2021 and 2022 at Château du Brossay, met with remarkable success, bringing together several thousand visitors and enthusiasts who came to discover cars, motorcycles, tractors and other collector vehicles.
The association’s mission: to bring heritage to life in all its forms and make it accessible to as many people as possible.
